Eia’s shop is revered, but it lacks the protection that the halfway home had. There are many who do not know or care about the influence of a dead leader’s old mother. Lilith lowers herself, trying to make herself as small as possible. She cannot and will not trust a male. “If you don’t open the door, I’m breaking in!” A weapon—she needs a weapon. Lilith crawls on the floor reaching for the large fabric scissors Eia had given her. She remembers the rule: only use them on fabric, or the blades will be ruined. She’ll find a way to replace them, but for now, she must protect their home. The only thing she has on her side is the element of surprise. She pulls the door open quickly, somehow at the same time as the male had thrown his weight into the door that is… no longer there. Lilith does not hesitate, driving the scissors down with all her weight. It drives into the wooden floors with a thump. “Are you insane?” The male shouts, having rolled away. 

I have a more unhinged one, but it's like... highkey uncomfortable and like verbal SA (in public, someone says some uncomfortable shit to Lilith). I WASN'T SURE HOW UNHINGED YOU WANTED, it's not graphic just discomforting.

Lilith is forced into submission when a hand buries itself in her dark hair, leaving her no choice but to look down. The position is humiliating, bringing fire to her cheeks as her hips are pressed against… against— “I can smell you ripening.”  No, no, no! As soon as she starts to struggle, Lilith is released. She nearly barrels forward into her sister and the other lord. The more she fights, the worse it is, and she can already feel the crowd assembling around them. Lilith keeps her eyes down this time, not wanting to meet the eyes of her very personal nightmare. “Teutan Dardani,” she says, urging her voice to be steady and calm. Those around her repeat the words. King of the Dardani people. King Brykos grunts, and the village resumes its regular hustle. The crowd is freed, but not her. He pulls her to him again roughly, planting her at his side and strokes her cheek as he speaks to his lesser. “Does that one interest you?” Lilith’s heart kicks up, and she wonders if they all can hear it. It’s one thing to be given to a warrior after the clipping, there’s a chance to find a kind partner who would be willing to see past their use. It’s another to catch a lord’s interest. They have no time to care for people. Victories and bloodshed are more important. Asmodea will be forgotten while her husband ploughs through the battlefield.

I think you can guess who Asmodea, affectionately referred to as Az, is ;)

Also, there is context and lore reason for the clipping. It might not be perfect, but it does have more nuance than the books.

Maglor for the ask game please!

One aspect I love about Maglor

I love that he has two very distinctly different sides: The loyal, fierce and seemingly merciless warrior and the man who raises two orphans in such a gentle way that love grows between them and they grow up to be great leaders of men and elves. He’s one of the most morally grey characters.

One aspect I wish more people understood about him

It bothers me sometimes that I see people make him out to be the good and harmless Son of Feanor. While he is the one who makes the most effort to repent and better his wrongdoings especially with raising Elros and Elrond, he did participate willingly in three kinslayings. He is a fierce and scary warrior with great loyalty towards his house. He kills Ulfang without any remorse as soon as he learns that he was a traitor. It’s only in the end that he voices his doubts after seemingly having no problems with Alqualonde and Doriath (it’s Maedhros who searches for the twins, not Maglor!). And still, he agrees to kill the guards for the Silmarils without much resistance.

One headcanon I have about him

Maglor doesn’t usually fight with weapons. Similar to Finrod’s fight against Sauron, he mainly uses his voice to stun and kill his enemies. He has perfected it in a way that sometimes all he needs to do is sing as he storms a camp and people will drop dead. But this also has the effect that he stops singing in his freetime and for his loved ones because he can’t stand to hear his own voice that has caused so much harm pretend to sound soft and soothing.

One character I love seeing him interact with

There’s really not much canon interaction between him and the twins but I love to read everyone’s headcanons and scenarios about him raising them. It’s so sweet! (i know this is technically cheating but please let it slide)

One character I wish he would interact with (more)

I would really like to see him interact with any of his cousins, we don’t know at all if he is close with any of them! I’m especially curious about his relationship to Finrod and Fingon since they are also mighty singers of the Noldor and if he sees them as his friends or rivals. Also an interaction with Daeron would be super interesting!

One haedcanon that involves him and one other character (Feanor)

I headcanon Maglor to be the Son of Feanor with the least interest in smithing. Feanor brings all of his sons to his forge when they are old enough to find out which smithing style suits them most (as in jewelry, armory, tools, etc.) and each of them turns out to be a decent smith even if they end up picking a different craft later on. Maglor is the only one who’s bad at all the things Feanor tries to teach him and he’s only ever interested in music. Even though he never directly told Maglor, it used to really frustrate Feanor. How could one of his sons be bad smith with him as a father?! That only changes after he attends Maglor’s first concert in Tirion. Ever since then he’s been the biggest supporter of Maglor’s musical career, he even had him compose a hymn for the House of Feanor.

Brainstorm is so in awe that people can also change their appearance like Cybertronians can change their frames or paint jobs! It's up to you to explain to him that while humans actually can't change their skin tone, they can do a lot with their hair.

Whoa there, let's start with a small trim and maybe some bolder color like red or maybe even teal like his paint job?

Swerve is familiar with humans having different colored hairs and skin tones, but seeing it in real life and not through his datapad's screen is a totally new experience.

If you look you can catch him admiring your hair from afar, paying extra attention when you pull your fingers through your hair or when you are playing with the strands of it.

It just looks so soft and smooth... Swerve is a little sad that he is so chubby, his servos included because he would love to play with your hair and try different hairstyles on your hair...

You take pity on him and ask if he would like to decide on your next style? He could be the fashion judge while Skids, he learned how to do hair after one tutorial from Youtube, does your hair?

This makes Swerve so happy and you immediately notice that Swerve has pretty good taste.

He is up to modern human styles and colors, but you can tell that he is leaning more toward reddish colors much like his paint job. In the end, you come out looking super cute or handsome, whichever you prefer to be called as.

Mechs and femmes left and right compliment your hair and ask where you came up with that style and you point in Swerve's direction and the bartender is happy to tell what your hair color and your cut represent in human society.

A not weekly magazine schedule is literally common !! Especially in the seinen shoujo and josei demographics, sometimes monthly, sometimes biweekly, sometimes every two months, sometimes seasonal! Please stop lying about how Dunmeshi was some special unique creation that defies all standards of manga just to hype it up because it is so clear that every single one of these comparisons is centered around Weekly Shonen Jump (and understand that SJ has many magazines under its brand that are monthly or semimonthly). Not everything is WSJ and it needs to stop being the only point of reference in conversations like this 🤧
